Adam Gilchrist won the toss and decided that the Deccan Chargers will bat first in a crucial game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Gilchrist said that the side was struggling with the injuries and would  go in with many changes to the side. Anirudh Singh, Venugopal Rao, Dwayne Smith and Rahul Sharma were all being brought into the playing eleven.

Kumble also made three changes to the side as B Akhil, Nayan Doshi (son of former cricketer Dilip Doshi) and Cameron White came into the side.

Deccan Chargers dropped three catches in the first four overs of their game against the Chennai Super Kings and yet had them struggling at 39/3 in the seventh over!

The Chennai Super Kings have won the toss and decided to bat first in the second semi-finals against the Deccan Chargers at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Muthiah Muralitharan is back into the playing eleven, as does Anirudh Srikkanth for the Chennai Super Kings.

Deccan Chargers brought in Ryan Harris, RP Singh, Herschelle Gibbs, in place of Chaminda Vaas, Rahul Sharma and Mitchell Marsh.

At the one hand is a side that, much like the previous edition, looked dead and buried through the end stages of the league, before storming into the semi-finals by slamming the door on five of their oppositions in successive matches.
