Bangladesh win toss and bat first against India

India went in their first game of the Asia Cup against Bangladesh with three medium pace bowlers apart from Harbhajan Singh and Ravindra Jadeja in their side.

The Indians also left out Saurabh Tiwary, Ashok Dinda, Pragyan Ojha and R Ashwin.

Update: Australia has scored 141 in their 20 overs. This means that Bangladesh need to score 142 in 19 overs or less to qualify for the Super Eights of the ICC World T20. This will mean that if Bangladesh score the runs in 19 overs or less, Pakistan will be knocked out of the tournament.

Yes, Bangladesh can still qualify for the second round of the ICC World T20. And while their net run rate is not as good as the Aussies or Pakistan, there is a good chance that if Bangladesh beat Australia, then they can still go through and qualify for the second round.
