Suresh Raina became the ninth Indian cricketer to score a century in his first Test innings when his completed his hundred on the fourth day of the second Test match between India and Sri Lanka at the SSC in Colombo.
Sachin Tendulkar completed his 48th century in Test match cricket against Sri Lanka at SSC in Colombo. Tendulkar was lucky to get there after he was dropped when he was on 29, but he made the most of it, as he looked to extricate the Indians out of a quagmire.

Mahela Jayawardene became the fourth century scorer in the T20I when he slammed a 100 off 63 balls against Zimbabwe to get there at the ICC World T2o game at Guyana. Jayawardene also became the third cricketer in the history of ICC World T20 cricket to score the century, following the footsteps of Chris Gayle [...]
Dave Warner completed his first ever century in the IPL, as he slammed a 100 in Delhi Daredevils’ seventh game against the Kolkata Knight Riders. The knock came off 66 balls, after he had taken 29 deliveries to get to his half century.
