Dale Steyn takes amazing catch, injures head

Royal Challengers Bangalore pace bowler Dale Steyn took an amazing catch of Chennai Super King’s Michael Hussey in the first semi-final of the Champions League T20. However, in the process of doing so, Steyn hurt his head badly enough to go off the field.

Hussey gave the bowler, Vinay Kumar a charge and managed to hit it, but it was not hit well enough. The ball took the edge and went towards the area between mid-off and long-off. Steyn, who was fielding at mid-off, began to back-pedal and after taking a few steps back, dived to take an excellent catch.

However, while doing so, Steyn seemed to have jerked his head hard with the ground. For many minutes, Steyn could not get up, and he had to be carried off from the field.

For many minutes, Steyn stood off the boundary and looked on groggily and had to be taken to the doctors.
