Champions League T20: Chennai lose Thilan Thushara to injury

Justin Kemp will replace Thilan Thushara in the Chennai Super Kings squad of 15 for the Champions League T20, 2010. The Champions League T20, which starts from September 10 this year, will see Chennai battle it out with nine other teams for the title of the best club side in the cricketing world.

Thushara hurt his groin during his game for Sri Lanka A against South Africa A. This will mean that Kemp, who was not a part of the Chennai side for the Champions League T20, will be brought in. Chennai Super KIngs were without Andrew Flintoff as well, who had not featured in the IPL 2010 too after being injured for some time.

The Champions League T20 format stipulates that the IPL teams will play with a maximum of four foreign players as has been the rule during the IPL.

Chennai Squad for Champions League T20:

MS Dhoni (capt &wk), S Badrinath, M Vijay, Suresh Raina, R Ashwin, Shadab Jakati, A Srikkanth, L Balaji, Muttiah Muralitharan, Michael Hussey, Doug Bollinger, Justin Kemp, Albie Morkel, Matthew Hayden, Joginder Sharma.
