Butt, Asif, Amir dropped from ODIs
The three Pakistani cricketers, Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, have been dropped from the Pakistani side for the rest of the tour of England. However, according to the team manager, Yawar Saeed, the troika of Butt, Asif and Amir were not suspended from the side.

According to reports, the three met up with the Pakistan’s high commissioner to the UK and Ejaz Butt, the chairman of the PCB.
According to the cricket manager, Saeed, the PCB had been informed of sending in replacements for the three. He also added that the T20 squad will remain what it is currently, that is, 13 players. The replacements will be send in for the ODIs. Saeed refused to answer who made the decision to axe the three players from the T20I and the ODI squads.
The announcement that was made by the Pakistan High Commissioner, saying that the three Pakistan players were under a lot of pressure and hence had opted out of the series.
Earlier, the PCB had come in a lot of pressure from the English cricket board and the ICC to drop the tainted players from the squad.
