Kevin Pietersen dropped from Bangalore side

The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Anil Kumble surprised everyone by dropping Kevin Pietersen and continuing to play Cameron White in his place in their IPL game against the Deccan Chargers at Bangalore.

In place of Pietersen, the Royal Challengers Bangalore went in with Dale Steyn. There were also two other changes to the side from which lost to the Delhi Daredevils, as Appanna and Abhimanyu Mithun also went out, and were replaced by Manish Pandey and Praveen Kumar.

The Deccan Chargers omitted VVS Laxman from the side, along with Dwayne Smith, Rahul Sharma. In their place, Mitchell Marsh, Monish Mishra, T Suman and Venogopal Rao make it to the playing eleven
