Michael Hussey, Doug Bollinger join Chennai team

Michael Hussey and Doug Bollinger have joined the Chennai Super Kings for the remainder of the IPL. Both Hussey and Bollinger were a part of the recently concluded Test series that Australia played against New Zealand.

Chennai is struggling at the penultimate position in the points table thanks to their successive losses and that has been caused due to some poor bowling performances in the tournament. Albie Morkel has not been in the best of bowling forms and there is a good chance that Bollinger will replace him if he is fit enough.

The Super Kings had lost Jacob Oram and Justin Kemp to injuries in the tournament.

Chennai’s four foreign players have usually been Mathew Hayden, Albie Morkel, Thilan Thushara and Muthiah Muralitharan. There is a good chance that Morkel will be replaced by Bollinger.
