Gambhir continues to back what he said about Rajasthan
Gautam Gambhir has said that he did not regret what he said about the Rajasthan side at the end of the game between Delhi and Rajasthan. In fact, Gambhir has said that he stood by what he had said.
Writing in his column in Hindustan Times, Gambhir said that he will continue to say things which are needed to be said and not feel intimidated by the starriness of those who bore the brunt of the comments.
Gambhir said that he would not say something that he did not mean because he was not a hypocrite. He added, “I can’t be expected to get all worked up about comments made by people who have never picked up a cricket bat in their lives. If I listen to opinions seriously, it is from people who have played the game.”
Shilpa Shetty had defended her side by saying that Gambhir wasn’t right in saying what he did given that they won the IPL in 2008!
