Sangakkara wins toss against Bangalore, bats first
Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and decided to bat first in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The match was played at Mohali.
There was grass on the wicket but the Kings XI Punjab still decided to bat first given that they wanted to build on the total.
There was no change to the Bangalore side, which means that Ross Taylor still remains out of the side.
Mahela Jayawardene has been rested for this game and Sangakkara will replace him after his one match ban. Sreesanth and Bipul Sharma are back ahead of Vikramjeet Malik and Karan Goel.
