Dirk Nannes injures his finger

Dirk Nannes joined the list of injured players in the tournament as he was hit on his finger while bowling for the Delhi Daredevils in the game against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Feroz Shah Kotla.

Nannes was bowling the 19th over of the game, and off the very first delivery, Wriddhiman Saha smashed the ball back to the bowler, who then tried to stop with his hands.

However, the force of the shot was such that it hit the Nannes’ finger and went to the boundary for a couple of runs. Nannes looked to be in visible discomfort and the finger looked to be bleeding as he rushed off to the pavilion.

Gautam Gambhir had only just returned back to playing for the Daredevils after having suffered from a hamstring injury.
