Mohammad Yousuf could announce his retirement again
It is said that Mohammad Yousuf may announce his retirement from international cricket soon. The reasons behind the announcement are not sure yet but one of the possible reasons could be his recent banning by the PCB along with Younis Khan prescribed the Wasim Bari-led committee.
Mohammad Yousuf had earlier announced his retirement from all forms of the game in 2007 when he was overlooked for a position in the Pakistan side for the ICC World T20. He joined the ICL after that, but was coaxed back into international cricket.
Yousuf has scored 7431 runs at an average of 53 in Test matches and 9624 runs in ODIs at an average of around 42. In the ODI version of the game, the problem with his batting towards the end of his career was his inability to hit the big shots and accelerate.
Yousuf had also taken over the captaincy of the side for some time when nobody else wanted the same.
