Watson to play in Hamilton Test instead of Hughes
Shane Watson should be fit to play in the second Test match that will start from the 27th of March against New Zealand at Hamilton. Watson had a good, one hour long net session and depending on whether or not he feels the pain after the going back from the session.
Watson had had a sore hip in the previous game and could not play a part. His place at the top of the order was taken by Phil Hughes, who did his chances no harm by slamming a quick-fire and unbeaten 86 to lead his side to a win over New Zealand.
However, with Watson clearly being a senior batsman in the side, Hughes will need to make way for him. The second Test match at Hamilton could be a rain afflicted one.
