India to tour Zimbabwe, play tri-series with Sri Lanka

India will tour Zimbabwe for a tri-series with the third team being Sri Lanka in May-June. They will also play two T20Is against Zimbabwe, as was announced the Zimbabwe Cricket.

The Zimbabwe Cricket announced this schedule after the New Zealand Cricket said that they will not be able to tour Zimbabwe due to security concerns. The New Zealand side has postponed their trip to Zimbabwe to next year.

The three teams, India, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, will face each other twice, before the top two teams will play in the finals of the tournament. This tri-series will then be followed by two T20Is between India and Zimbabwe.

The schedule of India’s tour of Zimbabwe is as follows:
28th May, 2010 – Zimbabwe v India, Bulawayo
30th May, 2010 – India v Sri Lanka, Bulawayo
1st June, 2010 – Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka, Bulawayo
3rd June, 2010 – Zimbabwe v India, Harare
5th June, 2010 – India v Sri Lanka, Harare
7th June, 2010 – Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka, Harare
9th June, 2010 – Final, Harare
12th June, 2010 – Zimbabwe v India, 1st Twenty20, Harare
13th June, 2010 – Zimbabwe v India, 2nd Twenty20, Harare
