Clarke to return back for Tests, Sinclair recalled
Michael Clarke has confirmed that he will return to New Zealand to play in the Test matches against New Zealand. Clarke had returned back to Australia to deal with the breaking down of his two year old engagement, after his fiancé, Lara Bingle was involved in a nude picture controversy.
Clarke missed most part of the ODI series and was not a certainty for the Test matches either, before he confirmed this to Cricket Australia. His team-mates, Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey confirmed this development and said that Clarke was mentally tough enough to deal with this.
For the New Zealand side, Mathew Sinclair has made it back to the team after a gap of nearly two years. And if Sinclair does manage to get an entry into the Kiwi playing eleven, it will be his sixth comeback into the international arena. He will come in as a cover for the top-order which consists of the inexperienced Peter Ingram.
Sinclair averages 14 against Australia.
